Size Guide | Adaptive clothing
Medoris Sizing
When it comes to adaptive clothing, correct sizing is absolutely crucial. This type of clothing is specifically designed for individuals with disabilities or special needs, and it needs to fit properly in order to be effective. One of the main reasons that correct sizing is so important in adaptive clothing is that it ensures that the individual is able to move comfortably and easily.
Clothing that is too tight or too loose can make it difficult for someone with a disability to move around and complete daily tasks. This can lead to frustration and a lack of independence, which is the opposite of what adaptive clothing is meant to achieve.
It is also worth considering that adaptive clothing is not a one-size-fits-all solution and need to be customized and tailored to the unique needs of the individual, so the correct sizing is important to maximize the effectiveness of the clothing. That is why at Medoris we do not use a general sizing chart. We have a separate sizing chart for each product. This way we can assure the right fit for each of our unique adaptive designs.

How to Measure
For the correct size for you, please measure your body as follows:
1. Bust: measure yourself around the fullest part
2. Waist: measure around your natural waistline
3. Hips: measure 8" below your natural waistline (this is usually the fullest part)
4. Length: measure the inside of the leg on trousers. For skirts measure from the top of the waistband to the hem. From the centre of shoulder to hem on dresses. We quote the average length.
Alterations Service
Skirts and trouser lengths are available as specified in the product details. If you wish to have trousers or skirts at exactly the length you choose we are able to offer an alteration service. It is £15 per alteration. In addition to length alterations, should you have any specific requirements, we are happy to discuss options to find a solution. All garments can be modified for a PEG or PEJ feeding, should additional care be needed.

Smaller sizes are also available only on special request.
Please note it is not possible to return items which have been altered to your requirements.
